18th/19th Century Venetian Rococo Decoupage & Painted Chinoiserie Writing Desk

This is a lovely Venetian ladies chinoiserie writing desk made in Italy. Dating 18th/19th Century and is hand painted in pale powder blue and decoupaged with chinoiserie scenes and additonal gold gilt edging and floral details on and around the cabriole legs. The drop down front exposes a blue and white painted interior. Two drawer and a small open space. The desk measures 36.25" tall at the highest point, 15" deep, 31" wide. There are two slide out drawers measuring 20" wide, 11.5" deep and 6" tall. When you pull out the drawers you can see hollow areas up the outer inside of the desk. There is a key with a cream silk tassel, the key is broken at the tip and does not function. All the drawers are tongue and groove and are numbered in pencil on the back. The desk is in as found condition, no restoration has been done by us nor the family we received it from. There is a paper label on the back that says (ART, 37 and also ciu? cir? cm? in cursive 75×85 Made in Italy is embossed and stamped in a few places on the backside. The desk is delicate but very sturdy.
