18th C English Chinese Chippendale Slab Table
This table was made in England, circa 1760, and was created in the Chinese Chippendale taste. It features a yellow marble slab top and the skirt of the table has an egg and dart border surmounted over diamond chinoiserie blind fretwork with a floral bottom layer. Each corner has an applied pierced bracket bordering a five-sided chamfered marlborough legs, with back lambs tongue carving, and has four blocked feet.
