1950’s Portrait Dancer in Studio Oil Painting by Victor Lasuchin
Victor Lasuchin (Russian/American, 1927 – 2013), portrait of a woman dressed in dance attire standing in a studio setting, oil painting on stretched canvas. Signed “Vic. L” and stamped verso with official stamp of the Lasuchin estate. Unframed. Measures 28in x 22in. Condition: Chips to painting mostly at edges but a few scattered throughout (see photos). Lasuchin had a long and accomplished career as an artist. In addition to the achievements below he has exhibited widely in international as well as national venues and won many awards for his work.
