Morris W. Haft (1886-1968), “Sabbath Blessing”, 1966. Oil on canvas. Haft was influenced by the work of Matisse. He was a collector of French impressionist and post-impressionist paintings. From New York. He owned substantial collection including works of Amedeo Modigliani,Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Corrot, Edgar Degas and Camille Pissarro, William Thon, Albert Marquet and Srthur Szyk. Beautifully framed in wood carved frame.
