1970s Lucite and Chrome Eight-Foot Floating Glass Top Console / Shelf

Sorry, this product is no longer available, please visit incollect for related products.

An impressive 1970s eight-foot-long console or shelf comprising a 3/4 inch glass top supported by a pair of cylindrical lucite corbels that are capped at either end in chromed steel. The overall craftsmanship here is of the highest quality, as is the lucite which is as clear as melting ice. We are not 100% certain of the manufacturer as it has attributes of several of the high-end lucite makers of the era (the corbels remind us of Karl Springer and Pace Collection designs in particular). Acquired from the original estate where the owners used it as a server/buffet alongside their dining table, this piece was very well-maintained. Dimensions listed are for the glass.

  • each lucite cylinder is 4 inches in diameter . Offered by Satyricon
