19th C St. Croix Mahogany Four Poster Queen Bed
This West Indies mahogany bed was created in early half of the 19th century, circa 1820, and features a carved headboard with stylized flora and fauna representing the islands. This bed frame currently fits a queen mattress but can be converted to a king size. There is a similar bed mentioned in Caribbean Eleganceby Michael Connors, page 40 & 44.
