Alexander Pope (1849-1924) was an American artist from Massachusetts. He became known as society painter who spent his entire life in Boston area with major interest in hunting and fishing. He was known to paint and sculpting those subjects of real life experience. He painted mainly dogs, still life, wildlife and trompe l’oeil doors-painting.
