An original work by Cole Sternberg, included in the exhibition, a moment in the sun, at the ARTed house in Wainscott, New York. About Cole Sternberg: born in Richmond, Virginia and raised in Saratoga, California, Sternberg earned his B.A. from Villanova University, and his J.D, at the Washington College of Law at American University. He uses text extensively in his work, combining a socio-political point of view with a strong aesthetic. Sternberg has exhibited both nationally and internationally, including exhibitions at The American University Museum (Washington, DC), Hochhaus Hansa (a Ruhr.2010 Museum, Dortmund, Germany), Primary Projects (Miami, FL), David B. Smith Gallery (Denver, CO), Los Angeles Nomadic Division (LAND, Los Angeles, CA) and Kinsey DesForges (Culver City, CA). His forthcoming projects this year include exhibits with e105 Gallery (Berlin, Germany) and LAND. His works can be found in major collections and publications throughout the world.
