The molded cylindrical canopy above a central hanging rod, suspending five scrolled arms woven together to form a teardrop-shape, each arm terminating in a PH 2/2 shade set of white colored glass with a light fitting stamped: P.H.-2 PATENTED.

The height can easily be lengthened or shortened.

Poul Henningsen (Danish, 1894-1967) was one of the most innovative lighting designers of the modern era. Henningsen ingeniously devised the PH-Lamp to provide a desirable soft and warm glow to the newly developed electric lighting.
