A Rare Danish 4 Light Adjustable Glass, Bronze and Bakelite Chandelier
The cylindrical canopy, suspending two height-adjusting cylinders of patinated bronze connected by cords, the bottom cylinder issuing three graceful s-curved arms, each arm with a 2/2 yellow painted glass shade set, centering a 3.5/2 yellow painted shade set below. The height is adjustable.

Poul Henningsen (Danish, 1894-1967) was one of the most innovative lighting designers of the modern era. Henningsen ingeniously devised the PH-Lamp to provide a desirable soft and warm glow to the newly developed electric lighting.
