David Blomberg (1874-1962) was a Swedish interior designer and cabinetmaker who founded the celebrated furniture department at Nordiska Kompaniet (NK). Blomberg directed the department between 1902 -1917 and designed the emblematic NK logo still used today. In 1925, Blombergs workshop executed beautifully crafted furniture designed by Carl Hˆrvik and Gunnar Asplund for the seminal 1925 Exposition International des arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris.
