Abstract with Some Reality (#217)
Harry Moody was formally trained at the Frankfurt Stadel Fine Art Academy in Frankfurt, Germany. He trained under Josef Beuys, Johannes Schreiter and Thomas Bayrle. He was introduced to the works of the then residing professor, Gerhard Richter, who became an incredible influence on his work. With large scale squeegees, Moody paints from multiple directions to create a dynamic and energetic abstract work that can be placed vertically or horizontally. This piece is oil on canvas stretched on aluminum/wood.
