African Beaded Chair - Tribal Orange
Our Tribal Orange African Beaded Chair is fit for royalty— literally. Traditionally made as thrones for tribal leaders, these beautiful hand-beaded chairs are customarily crafted in West Africa by indigenous people following methods that have been passed down for generations. These skilled artisans stitch thousands upon thousands of tiny glass beads to panels of fabric, which are then applied to a carved wooden frame— a painstaking process that takes over three months to complete. This particular piece is made using a combination of white, black, orangey-gold and blue beads, which together create a pattern of symbolic, stylized flowers. Perfect for an eclectic, boho-chic interior, we also love this stunningly detailed seat in a protected outdoor space for a pop of that world-traveler feel.
