Antique Anatolian Kilim, 6' x 13'
A late 19th century hand woven Anatolian kilim. Woven in two sections and joined to form one long gallery rug. In that time and place, weavers used a narrow loom. To enable a wider rug, two complementary sections were woven and then sewn together. They culture aspect of these village weavings is a lovely reflection of pure folk art.
