Five rush bottom chairs made of pine, ganged and numbered, from France. Quite possibly church or choir seating, however, the oval enameled number plates on the back of each chair tell that they may, in fact, have been from an academic or auditorium setting. There is one substantial crack along the front rail but the stability of the group has not been compromised. The rush is in good condition. Interesting seating for one side of a long table, fabulous when hung on a wall.
