Antique tribulum or grain threshing tool used in the mountains of France. A farm animal would be used to pull the sledge across the ground while the embedded stone chips or flint are used to aid in the separating process. These would have been used until the mid-20th century. Like pieces of art, these are currently used as a wall hanging or simply leaned against the wall to create a dramatic effect.
