Art Deco Brass and Frosted Glass Lamp, 1940s
This Art Deco clear frosted glass lamp has a modernist appeal. Brass forms the structure: a central straight rod flanked by two dramatically curved outer rods atop a simple tiered base. The top is made from lovely, cloudy opaline glass. The glass is decoratively shaped, including special detailing like the textured dome on the top which makes it feel handmade. This piece would be ideal for a desk, designed to cast a warm mood around a space. It’s a beautiful example of Art Deco decoration, style of Sabino, Lalique or Muller Frères.
