The Bellini Chair (1998) was an instant classic from the time it was unveiled. It won numerous awards on both sides of the Atlantic for architect and designer Mario Bellini, including Italy’s highest industrial design prize, the Compasso d’Oro. Bellini resides in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and in public spaces at MoMA and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, where durability counts as much as good design. Constructed of injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene, this one-piece chair is strong, lightweight and easy to clean. A slightly flexible seat back provides good comfort, and plastic floor glides help protect delicate floors. Suitable for residential and commercial use both indoors and out. Stackable up to six high. Made in U.S.A.
