Cedric Hartman 91 CO Precision Floor Lamp in Brass

Sorry, this product is no longer available, please visit incollect for related products.

A model 91CO floor / task lamp designed by Cedric Hartman with a solid brass base and brass plate over milled aluminum shade. This is a marvel of design, purely academic and positively elegant. The lamp rotates a full 720 degrees at its base and 180 degrees at its socket, with an adjustable overall height (35 – 42 inches). It has a brand new, original lollipopdimmer switch and was serviced by Cedric Hartmans associate here in NYC. We actually had the pleasure of conferencing with Mr. Hartman by phone and he informed us that given the lack of a visible serial number underneath, that this is an earlier example. Acquired from an architects estate.

*Please Note: The base has its original lacquer coating and although it presents wonderfully in a room setting, there is aging to the lacquer in the form of oxidation patches that are visible in a pure, bright white room (as with these studio flash images).

As per Mr. Hartmans suggestion (as well as his personal preference, so we learned), we could have the lacquer stripped and then simply polish the solid brass, either leaving it to earn its rightful patina or to be polished periodically. Please inquire. Offered by Satyricon
