Contemporay dining table of salvaged English oak
The table for Dylan was made from two slices of solid salvaged English oak, book matched with a burr oak and resin infill. The resin has been darkened slightly. Size: 3220 mm x 1100 mm x 740 H.
The tables are made to order and are unique in both size and the timber used. Oak can be bleached to give a lighter look or darkened with a stain, it can also be treated with an iron solution that turns the oak a rich black.
The close-up photographs show the table top detail with the inset waney/live edge and mirror image / book matched pieces with a burr oak and resin infill.
Please let me know the size you would like and I will get back to you with a price. Should you wish to go ahead then I will send images of the oak that I would like to use for your approval. I would then ask you for a deposit of 50% with the balance due after you have seen the finished photographs and before shipping.
