Convento Lounge Chair
Featuring an exposed wood base, elongated cylindrical arms and a refined loose back cushion, the Convento pays homage to its original muse. The original chair dates back to the late 1880’s. The chair was found among the furnishings of a convent in Lincoln, New Mexico. Lincoln was the former county seat of Lincoln County, New Mexico and was made infamous as the scene of much violence during the Lincoln County War, a range and mercantile war. The original chair is housed in the New Mexico History Museum. Traditions Made Modern collection
