This is the last weekend to visit the annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House, and this year’s house certainly should not be missed. Open through Tuesday, June 4, the five-story townhouse on East 64th Street showcases the work of 18 of the industry’s best designers, including an atrium designed by James Huniford, a master bedroom designed by Kathryn M. Ireland and a back garden designed by Nievera Williams. Now in its 41st year, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is considered by many to be the premier showcase of professional interior design and a launching pad for design trends.
This year, for the first time ever, you have the opportunity to bring a bit of Kips Bay home with you. Pieces specially created by the participating designers are exclusively available for purchase on Dering Hall through a dedicated Kips Bay Show House storefront. Below we feature some of the available pieces as well as the designs from the house.212
