Alison Rose

After a conversation with Artistic Tile Founder and CEO Nancy Epstein at the Designing For Millennials event in 2017, designer Alison Rose was asked to create her own tile line. The result was Euclid, made up of four geometric shapes in a variety of classic stones and creative colors. Each piece can be arranged in any way, creating an infinite number of possibilities when working with the pattern.

“The Euclid collection is basically my alphabet—set units designed to work together, in an infinite number of ways to tell your story” says Rose. Having debuted at this year’s AD Design Show to raves, Euclid is just the first step in this new collaboration for Rose and Artistic Tile.

Lori Weitzner

Known for her award-winning textiles, Lori Weitzner is launching her first tile designs exclusively with Artistic Tile. Inspired by the outdoors, Weitzner designed 3D tiles of natural stone—the Forest Tile and the River Tile. "My design style is very tactile," explains Weitzner. "Every product we design at our studio is meant to engage all the senses: we don't want people to just look at our products, we want people to experience them."

Using her textile design background, Weitzner created a fabric-like effect on natural stone surfaces. Two color palettes enhance the effect of the patterns: "Whisper," a white, calming shade and "Night Shadows," in a smoky, rich color. River in Bardiglio Nuvolato and Forest in Bianco Carrara marble make use of the Whisper palette, while Forest brings life to the Night Shadows palette.
