Today marks the first day of LCDQ’s LEGENDS celebration, which brings together VIPs and tastemakers from the world of interior design, décor, art, fashion and architecture for a three days of keynote panel discussions, cocktail parties, exhibitions, book signings, personal appearances and specialty events. From May 8 to 10, LEGENDS will pay homage to the people or things that help to create and inspire excellence in design by exploring this year’s theme—Time Capsule: The Past, Present and Future of Design.
On Friday, May 10, a panel of top designers will join Peter Sallick, co-founder of Dering Hall and CEO of Waterworks, to share insight about the business of expanding beyond private clients and reaching the fast-growing and ever-evolving audience of savvy trade and consumer shoppers through a new breed of retail and online experiences. Renowned interior designers, Jane Hallworth, Tim Clarke and James Huniford will discuss the origin of their retail shops and the evolution of their digital platform while providing insight into their personal aesthetic and creative endeavors. The panel will begin at 11am at Jean de Merry.
