Get the Look: Modern Meets Traditional

Are you looking to freshen up an outdated, traditional living room? Have you considered mixing styles and characteristics of your space? In this living room room by Andrew Flesher, he effortlessly blends two styles into a single space. Modern meets traditional in this living room fit with traditional furnishings and architectural detailing mixed together with a touch of modernity (like the Egg Chair, patterned rug and James Sconces). The colors and structural lines of the all furnishings compliment each other, striking an elegant balance within the space. The balance is achieved in a number of ways: the compliment of the tufted bolster detailing adorning the the modern leather day bed; the geometric patterning of the rug against dark wood flooring, and best of all the contrast of white walls and neutral hues with lines of rich dark browns. In Flesher's attempt to avoid a matchy look, he opts to mix furniture colors, styles, and detailing is fashionable and modern way. Are you intrigued? Shop the Look.
