In the foyer, a clean lined writing desk by Joseph Jeup sits beneath a custom mirror in a gilded hand-carved antique frame, a juxtaposition of modern and traditional that is repeated throughout the home. A vintage brass light fixture by Gaetano Sciolari and silk rug add a touch of urban sophistication.

The large living room, which has lake and skyline views, provided the opportunity for two seating areas. At the far end, a custom banquette is covered in a rich silk velvet from Clarence House, grounding the large scale, brightly colored photograph by Kim Keever that hangs above. The ottoman was designed by Vincere and is covered in a Holly Hunt leather with Samuel & Sons fringe. The wool and silk rug is custom from Tai Ping.

Donghia fabric. The architectural form of the coffee table by John Boone complements the antiqued Formations mirror, which reflects views of Lake Michigan.
