To create her dream Malibu home, interior designer Vanessa Alexander of
Alexander Design had to undertake a major renovation, removing walls, changing the floor plan and adding more light. With a more open layout and vintage furnishings, she was able to create her vision for a "beachy version of a Tuscan farmhouse." 67
