Launching 13 March for the trade and 16 March for the public, London Design Week is back at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. The goal is “couture for the home,” with major high-end brands, designers, and architects coming together to see the latest in design and forecast upcoming trends.
Dering Hall style ambassador Emilio Pimentel-Reid will be hosting a lighting seminar as part of the event. “Few events in my diary match London Design Week as a destination for a quick burst of inspiration,” he says. “It’s an opportunity to catch up with colleagues and gain insight into what's new at key British and international brands.”
Exhibitors will include David Seyfried Ltd, McKinnon and Harris, TOPFLOOR by Esti, Black & Key, Remains Lighting, Kravet, SA Baxter, and dozens more. One of the highlights this year will be the launch of a new sofa and chair from David Seyfried, designed by Salvesen Graham. The pieces have Georgian inspirations, with elegant proportions and painted legs.
The trade preview for London Design Week runs from 13-15 March, and the public is welcome from 16-18 March; entry is free. www.dcch.co.uk/London-Design-Week-2016
