Mona Hajj Transforms a Delaware Beach House

Baltimore-based interior designer Mona Hajj has a comfortable and innovative approach to design that is illustrated in her ability to mix modern and antique pieces and styles. This skill translates into unparalleled interiors that carry another hallmark of Hajj’s work—a uniquely international flair. This stems from her background growing up in Beirut in a family involved in the textile business and her passion for travel. Her natural culture-conscious approach is reflected in large and small ways in her designs: from the artwork she chooses to her decision to model the bathroom in a Maryland Beaux-Arts building after a Turkish bath. Hajj describers her transformation of a Shore House in Delray Beach below. - Molly Hess
