Located in the San Francisco Design Center's historic Galleria Building, HEWN is uniquely designed to serve the needs of both interior designers and architects. Founders Peter West and Jeff Holt make use of their deep knowledge of the industry to curate the highest quality products from the very best brands. Originally designed by Mel Smilow in 1956, the WLC 22 Woven Leather Armchair and WO22 Ottoman was reissued by Smilow Design with the finest craftsmanship and exceptional detail. Made of walnut with a natural finish, the leather strapping is available in black, brown, tan, and red. Additional colors available upon request.
Also originally designed in 1956, Smilow Design's Hanging Pendant is available in two sizes. It's made of solid walnut with brass fixtures and a vellum shade with birch dowels. Other pieces included in the Smilow Lighting Collection are a table lamp, bedside lamp, and a floor lamp.
Helene Aumont's Luna Dining Table is a handcrafted piece composed of 29 individual disks. The table's top is constructed of six sections of walnut or rosewood, and is also available in a square shape.
Also by Helene Aumont, the Passy Petit Chandelier is a wrought iron piece wrapped with silk cording. All eight arms extend uniformly from the center in alternating colors. The cording is shaped in a traditional passementerie knotted detail and is available in various colors.
Known in large part for her beautiful wallpapers, Brett Design creates vibrant patterns with natural and abstract themes. Shown above is the Blooming Flowers Wallpaper, a soft, contemporary, and sophisticated floral wallcovering.
Also by Brett Design, the Ruby Cabinet is a unique Mod-style piece made of black Limba wood with backpainted glass doors in periwinkle and C-shaped legs. It's fully customizable in any color, size, and metal finish.
