While searching for a new place to call home, an Austin couple was drawn to a contemporary house in the city’s vibrant Zilker district that offered a calm escape for the two
busy executives. To warm up the modern home, the couple enlisted Austin-based designer
Mark Cravotta of Cravotta Interiors, who added texture and interest to the space, blending rugs and tapestries he’d purchased in Marrakesh
souks with the couple’s own travel finds. 90
