The UK based kitchen specialists at Artichoke have just revealed another fantastic bespoke kitchen. Set in a 12 bedroom Tuscan villa, the goal for the project was to convey the feeling of timelessness through a mixing of periods - both past and present.
The central islands were inspired by the vernacular architecture of the area with their brick and lime plastered built-ins.
Chestnut doors, hung on bespoke wrought iron hinges, were hand planed across the wood-grain, and tenons were exposed at the ends of the wooden work surfaces to add an air of rusticity.
In the dining area, the team took inspiration from French architectural joinery to create the glazed case piece, which was further accented with espagnolette ironmongery. Other furnishings echo a more Georgian English feel.
We hope you enjoyed the tour!
