Tropical Pineapple Motifs

I am completely swept up in the tropical pineapple trend. Summer and surf go hand in hand with the tropics-inspired pineapple motif, known and loved for its welcoming hospitality. Brooklyn-based wallpaper designer Aimee Wilder has taken the pineapple to a trippy, neo-preppy place with her just-launched 3-D Pina wallpaper from her 2014 Bungalow collection. Done in crazy hues, the boldly repeated large pineapple pattern is a welcome, bold wallcovering, be it in a powder room or entryway. I must say I'm pretty taken with the Sunset colorway, shown above, but I am not sure my eyes could handle living with 3-D on a constant basis. If you have no fear and a cool surf shack to decorate, then this ebullient pattern is for you.

The green colorway, Playa is vibrant and very California appropriate

Pretty in pink with the Daiquiri colorway is a bit more subtle
