Console Table Confidential

Console tables are often overlooked, but they can be a very important piece in a room; they are versatile, functional and under-appreciated! The console table grew out of furniture designed to showcase fashion items, lending it a functional yet fashion-forward aesthetic. Originally, console tables were designed to jut out of walls with between one and three legs. Today, however, we use console tables in a number of ways around the home. The entryway is a fantastic place, but also behind a sofa to provide a place for lamps! Additionally, console tables make great room dividers. They can be used to position artful accessories in a room or slip a few stools under the table for extra seating for your guests. Here are a few examples of ways we like to use console tables. Have fun and experiment!
