Manifesta 10 at the Hermitage

As many of you know, Manifesta is the European Biennial of Contemporary Art. This year, Manifesta 10 is being held in St. Petersburg. But not just anywhere in St. Petersburg, in the Hermitage Museum. The Hermitage began bringing contemporary art into the museum just five years ago, with much controversy! And now they are hosting one of the most cutting edge art shows in the world. This did not come without its issues, Russian social agendas and artists provocative tendencies had to meet in the middle. This delicate balance was handled with such grace by curator, Kasper König, who has put together a truly outstanding show! To read more visit Manifesta and Art Space.
