The lithograph print poster was published in 2017 in an unnumbered limited edition to accompany the exhibition " 60 years of Work " at The Tate Museum, Great Britain. It features an original artwork created by Hockney in 1968 titled " Christopher Isherwood and Don Bachardy ( detail ) “. David Hockney ( B. 1937 ) is an English painter, draftsman, printmaker, stage designer, and photographer. He is an important contributor to the Pop Art movement of the 1960’s, he is considered one of the most influential British artists of The 20th Century. His Pop Art Expressionist artworks have been the subject of more than 400 solo exhibitions. Art works by Hockney are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums. The rare out of print framed Pop Art exhibition poster measures 17 3/4” W X 24 1/2" H X 1" D. It is custom framed with glass in an avocado pistachio green matte eggshell finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.
