Denmark 1960s Bent Karlby for Lyfa "Troika" Pedant Light
The “Troika” pendant was created by Bent Karlby in the mid 1960s. It came out in 3 shades of blue, brown and this 3 tone orange and yellow version. It’s made from metal conic rings finished with a beautiful matte lacquer. The soft summery yellow and orange colours makes it a stunning decoration piece as well as a great light source. The light is rewired using its original brass lamp socket and a new dark brown heavy duty textile cable of 5 meters. It’s in good vintage condition with few scratches and no dents. Normal signs of its age. The outside of the lamp socket is constructed in a way that it drops down into the shade when the lamp is taken down. This has given some scratches through the years as seen in the last picture. Bent Karlby was a Danish architect, designer and member of the resistance. He was educated at the Technical School in Aarhus, in 1932. Diameter 14"
