Early 19th C English Regency Coromandel Canterbury Desk
This desk was made in the early-19th century, circa 1810, and is made from coromandel wood with brass inlay. The upper section is divided into four sections that feature vertical star and leaf-type brass designs, while the middle section is divided into two parts with mirrors on the front doors. The total of four sections sit on four turned raised legs. A similar desk is pictured on the cover of “English Furniture and Decorations,“ which was published in 1975.
