Edelman Leather Two-Seat Tandem Sling by Charles Eames for Herman Miller
In 1962 Ray & Charles Eames were commissioned to design the optimal utilitarian seating for the first American international airports. Created for comfort, convenience and practicality, this world renown chair has never before been re-envisioned with such luxury in mind. We breathed new life into these pieces by refurbishing the original lightweight aluminium frames and sectioning them to create newly formed one, two and three-seat arrangements. We then reupholstered the seats in high quality, full grain top of the line Edelman leather, whose products are highly established in both the fashion and design world for over seven generations. This particular airport bench has been redone in a luxurious Edelman tan leather. We also have these airport chairs available in Edelman’s cream, black, red and copper color shagreen leather.
