Florence Knoll Lacquer and Chrome Desk, 1950s

Maison Cédric

Sorry, this product is no longer available on Dering Hall.

Perfect Mid-Century Modern proportions, designed by Florence Knoll for Knoll International in 1955, this desk model 1503 has a decidedly vintage mood. The black lacquer surfaces and chrome feet and accents look contemporary enough for the piece to be able to blend with most modern interiors. The polished color scheme allows the desk to be used in a variety of designs—a quality, functional piece that lends itself readily to minimalistic or glamorous spaces. Not to mention, it’s in mint condition, so it’s immediately ready for incorporation into an office space and feels almost brand new. The large flat surface is smooth for a workspace; there is ample storage in the seven drawers, including two accessible top drawers for small office items to eliminate desk clutter.
