Superb Fritz Hansen model 1672 high back lounge chair made, circa 1942. The chair was first seen on page 12 in Fritz Hansen’s 1942 catalog. The model 1672 has become of the most sought after and iconic high back chairs to come out of the Danish modern era with its slim and tall Silhouette and dramatic angles. The Classic and comfortable chair feature a solid wooden frame and copper coil springs. This chair has been masterfully restored and re-upholstered in a 100% Australian Merino Lambswool that maintains the look and many of the characteristic of sheepskin. Overall excellent newly upholstered condition.
