Hans J. Wegner Ch-28 Armchair
Hans J. Wegner Ch-28 Armchair. A superb example of Wegner‘s uncanny ability do away with the superfluous, leaving only his purely aesthetic, functional design. This chair is from the 1960s, and features both seat and back cushions. Gleaming teak plywood has been cleaned and polished. The back is particularly striking, the molded frame boasting a gorgeous grain. Newly upholstered terracotta leather cushions are robust and comfortable and will guarantee lounging for hours on end. Patinaed oak-frame is finely crafted using only joinery construction. Marked on the underside with the early Carl Hansen & Son stamp.
