Leap Table Scorched and Ebonized English Oak, One of a Kind
This table is called Leap and is the first in a series that explore the visual beauty of animal movement. The leg structure passes through the tabletop and down each leg and is visible to the sitters through the small openings in the tabletop. The whole table is made from strips of solid English oak that has been scorched black on the underside and ebonized on the top, the whole is finished with hard wax oil. Each of my pieces of furniture has a consecutive making number and initials on the underside. This tables number is 235 and was completed this summer.
