Louis XVI Carved Mahogany Fauteuils by George Jacob - a Pair
Pair of Louis XVI carved mahogany fauteuils by George Jacob, a distinguished designer during the Napoleon I Reign. New, reupholstered fabric. Stamped with the Jacob name on the back under seat. Each chair is carved with a pediment back crest rail and oval medallions over straight stiles enclosing three columns that meet carved roundels at their base. The fluted carved arms continue down into reeded column tapering legs.
