Design theme
“Memento Mori”. This ancient Latin motto has always been used as a very popular reminder that death shall not be seen as the sad finish line of life, rather a starting point for a more precious existence.
This mirror is a contemporary reinterpretation of the Venetian mirror concept from the 18th century. At this time, the “memento mori” was represented by a skull constantly surrounded by flowers and fruits, symbols of thriving life.
The positive perception of death is also emphasizes by the vivid cedar color, which allow this mirror to be well appreciated for both eclectic and contemporary interiors.
