Robert Loos created this piece for the Price Family in Santa Barbara CA mid 1960s.
Former aeronautic engineer, after the end of WWII his job ended in General Dynamics. he started his own business making custom furniture in his studio in New Jersey,
An admirer of George Nakashima, he was inspired by the great wood master on his designs.
Original drawing and provenance will be provided to the future owner of this master piece.
The credenza has a free form shape top with solid rosewood and walnut wood.
The doors have a sculptural design using walnut and rosewood veneer. They slide to either side.
On the left there are four pull out drawers, running very smoothly. The right side is open storage with adjustable shelves.
Mounted in solid rosewood legs also in sculptural shape.
