Modern Authentic French Maison J. Gatti Bistro Chairs - a Pair

Sorry, this product is no longer available on Dering Hall.

Authentic French bistro armchairs made by hand in France at Maison Gatti. The epitome of French cafe life! We have ten Maison Gatti bistro chairs in total, and are selling them by the pair. All are in immaculate condition with no flaws noted. The style of these chairs is “Kleber”, and they retail for $1,385 each from the US outlet for Maison Gatti, plus shipping. Other than this source, they are hard to find outside of France. These Kleber chairs by Maison Gatti are made of Rilsan and rattan and often seen at the outdoor caf√©s, from the Georges V Hotel in Paris to the River Cafe in New York City. (Rilsan is a natural resin from the castor bean plant and is so strong it is used for making automobile gas tanks. It is the only woven chair material that will not fade or tear and will last for many years outdoors, even longer indoors). The natural rattan is a solid material, bent by hand in the same way as has been done for over 100 years by trained craftspeople. Each chair measures 22.5"W x 23"D x 35"H, seat height 19", arm height 28". These are not the cheap nylon or plastic woven cafe chairs that are poor imitations of the original. Stylish and the epitome of French, they are the perfect blend of design and functionality, for the discriminating decorator or homeowner.
