Monumental - Santa Barbara Hills Oil Painting Framed

Chairish

Sorry, this product is no longer available on Dering Hall.

This is a happy and bright oil on canvas painting, painted in plein air in the hills of Santa Barbara overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The artist has always enjoyed the generosity of Seabrook Nursery who has invited her to paint in their lush gardens. The painting was inspired by the Fauve movement of the early 1900’s. This beautiful painting is professionally framed in a gold wood frame that has a slight ornamental relief. It is wired and ready to hang. Several of the photos show the art in a room setting. This painting is signed “Holden” in the lower right corner. Artist Martha Holden was trained at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and later worked as an artist in France for 20 years. Her work is exhibited in many public and private collections as well as in film and television. This is a jewel of a painting that is professionally framed. It would brighten any room. It would be lovely in your gallery wall or a centerpiece. Art is a timeless treasure, enjoy it for yourself or give it as a gift to a loved one. This painting will be presented in a well packaged art box and shipped by UPS.
