A new Nepalese finely woven hand knotted wool carpet measuring 10 feet 4 inches by 14 feet. The design is inspired by the Scottish artist/designer Charles Rennie MacKintosh, a proponent of the English Arts and Crafts Movement from the turn of the 20th century. There are two pile heights. The evenly spaced pumpkin colored repeating devices are wool with silk highlights in gray and taupe; the woven flat foundation in dark tan. A faithful and skillfully executed interpretation of an old design.
