Neverending Glory The Met Pendant
Jan Plech and Henry Wielgus met during their studies at The Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where they first began to collaborate. In 2011, they founded their own design studio, Jan Plech & Henry Wielgus, with the goal of transcending barriers between architecture, art and design. Currently, the duo is commissioned for internationally renowned galleries and brands around the globe. Their Neverending Glory Collection (2013) was inspired by chandeliers from five of the worlds most eminent opera houses. If you imagine the grand, original chandeliers in these opera houses, theyre glorious, elucidates Plech, and the neverending part relates to the profiles and the idea of infinite rotation a neverending glory.
